This page is aimed at explaining the new features of the redesigned 21st Georgia website. Items in Blue are additions to the site that were not previously available.
HOME PAGE: This page can be accessed by going to:
News Update Section- provides latest additions to the website and news for the 21st.
Next Event Section- this provides a brief explanation of the next event, and a link to the events section of the site.
Sidebar Links- provide quick links and small descriptions of helpful and informative pages. Click anywhere in the box to be taken to that page.
HISTORY PAGE: This page provides an in depth account of the 21st Georgia as they were during our nation's Civil War.
ABOUT PAGE: This page describes each aspect of the 21st with links to the unit officers and a link to the bylaws.
EVENTS PAGE: These pages provide a listing for each event in the scheduled year, as decided by the executive board. Each page contains the following: -Brief description of the event -Dates of the event -If the event is a battalion event -A web link (if available) -Attendance list (if available) -Link to photos (if available) -Link to after-action report (after event, when available) -Address of event -Link to Mapquest.com directions Sidebar provides links to other events The main events page will provide information for the next event.
JOIN PAGE: The join page briefly provides a quick overview of how to become a re-enactor. Also included on this page is information for the Recruitment Officer. Links are provided to the online application and the health questionnaire.
PICTURES PAGES: These pages display pictures from all events that have had pictures submitted. This includes recent and years past. Pictures can be scrolled through by using the left & right arrows. All years are listed in the upper right hand corner for each event.
FORMS & LINKS PAGE: This page provides several key forms used by the unit to conduct unit business. Also included on this page are links to external websites that provide information on reenacting related materials.
MEMORIAL PAGE: The memorial page provides a description of the memorial officer position as well as links to external sources containing information on the 21st.
