Syllabus
for Mr. Rose’s Psychology Class
The investigation of social studies can be rewarding as well as
enjoyable. Many students feel that psychology is a science, but actually
psychology is included in the social studies. Practicing any of the
social studies is much more in depth than simply memorizing. Social
Studies requires an intuitive mind to deduce, synthesize, and analyze
information. Through the use of particular methods, a student should learn
how to investigate and put facts together in order to determine a reliable
conclusion. As a result, one will not only learn more about individuals
and their society but also learn how to make well informed decisions in their
future.
Class

A website has been designed for this class.
On this website you will be able to access all class notes, assignments,
and in class activities. As a
result, if you are sick, or have to miss class, you will be able to get on to
the website and get the information discussed in class.
If you are able you should look at the website frequently to keep up with
class discussions.
In addition to class resources, each student’s grades will be posted
on-line. Each student will be given
an ID number and a password that will allow you to access your own grades.
Grades will be posted on a secure site, and only those who know your ID
and password will be able to view your grade.
This will allow you and your parents to check your grade as often as you
like. Also on the site where you
grades are posted, there is an option for you to message me. If you have any questions about the homework assignment for
